Thomas W. Johnson, MD
Born
in 1968 Dr. Johnson attended the University of
Rochester, receiving his B.A. in 1991 and his medical degree from the
Medical
College of Pennsylvania, graduating in
1996. He was a transitional intern at Newton-Wellesley
Hospital, general surgical resident at
Boston University, and surgical resident at
Albany Medical Center. He completed
his residency at Albany Medical Center where he was
Chief Resident of general surgery from 2001-2002.
He is currently
a member of the American College of Surgeons and the American Medical Association.
He is a United
States certified sailing instructor and former United States Coast Guard
launch tender operator. He is also a former clinical research assistant
in psychopharmacology at the Veterans
Administration Medical
Center, Boston, MA.
Dr. Johnson
joined Beverly Surgical Associates in 2002 where his surgical interests
include laparoscopic techniques that include hernia and gallbladder
repair, breast surgery, and bariatrics.
