David I. Becker, MD
Born
in 1965 Dr. Becker attended Yale University, where he received his B.A.
in biology in 1986 and then received his medical degree at Albert
Einstein College of Medicine, graduating in 1990.
His postdoctoral training included general surgery internship and
residency at Tripler Army Medical Center, Honolulu, HI and Colorectal
Surgery fellowship at Cook County Hospital, Chicago, IL.
Dr. Becker’s military service included General Medical officer, Fort
Bragg, NC, General Surgery attending, Fort Irwin, CA, and General
Surgery attending, Fort Hood, TX, receiving several Army commendation
medals and Army parachutist badge.
He is an associate fellow of the American College of Surgeons and
member of the Mass Medical Society and American Society of Colon and
Rectal Surgeons. He was board certified in General Surgery by the
American Board of Surgery in 1996 and the American Board of Colon and
Rectal Surgery in 2001.
He has been in practice with Beverly
Surgical Associates since 2000. His surgical interests include colon and
rectal surgery, breast surgery, and laparoscopic techniques that include
hernia and gallbladder repair. |
