George P. Kacoyanis, M.D.,F.A.C.S.
Dr.
Kacoyanis was born in 1949 and grew up in greater
Boston. He attended Columbia
University and then the Cornell University
Medical College, graduating in
1975. He completed the five year surgical residency program at the Peter
Bent Brigham
Hospital in 1980 and then a vascular fellowship at the Brigham and Women’s
Hospital in 1981.
Dr. Kacoyanis
has been in private practice since 1981 with Beverly Surgical
Associates. He is Board Certified in Surgery and a Fellow of the
American College of Surgeons. His surgical interests include laparoscopic gallbladder
surgery, hernia surgery, breast surgery, vascular surgery, and dialysis
access surgery.. He has served as the Chief of Surgery at
Beverly
Hospital for five years and has served on the Hospital’s Board of Trustees.
He enjoys playing tennis, hiking and
golfing, and has appeared in various community theater productions. He
is on the Board of Trustees of the North Shore Music Theater.
