Beverly Surgical Associates, Inc. was organized in 1970 by Doctors Mayo Johnson, Frank Bixby and Thomas Risley all members of the Beverly Hospital medical staff, in order to provide the finest surgical services to the local community. The group has increased in size, strength, and reputation over the years and now provides general and vascular surgery as well as great expertise in the new field of minimally invasive surgery and breast surgery. 

The surgeons provide 24-hour coverage for all their patients. For the convenience of the community, most procedures are performed at Northeast Health Systems Hospitals (Beverly Hospital, Addison Gilbert Hospital, and The Hunt Center) as well as Harvard Vanguard in Peabody.
